With the purchase of our first West Virginia Community Center complete, volunteer teams have started the center’s renovation project.

Friday, October 23rd – Sunday October 25th the first team and Project Leader began removing old ceilings, walls and flooring that have extensive water damage. The interior demolition will continue over the next few weeks as crews gut all of the plumbing, electrical system and any other area of the building that is not repairable.

This coming weekend, Marks Gutter Service from Hickory, NC will be donating their time to travel into the mountains to analyze the need and repairs for the property. With a new gutter system and  minor work on the grounds, we anticipate to mitigate the water that’s able to work its way into the building.

Once renovations are complete, we will be able to host mission teams to serve families in the area, have a place for children and families to receive provisions and other types of assistance while being shown the Love of Jesus.
