Spring is here, and it has started off with a very busy month of March! We have seen God moving in so many ways here in the WV Appalachian Mountains.
Cliff was busy the first half of March getting the upstairs bunk area ready for our mission teams. It is now ready to go and very comfy!. Come with a mission team and check it out!
Our first mission team of the year was from Tomoka Christian Church out of Florida. What a work crew of youth, youth partners and youth Pastors! They landscaped and mulched the front of the Community Center, stocked up the bonfire wood and helped organize the warehouse. On Wednesday night, they led a Youth Blowout church service and what a blessing it was to the church and to the mission team. Then, the second part of the Tomoka mission team, which was helping at Anchor Ridge in North Carolina joined us for a community outreach. We had a full house of 27 people for two days, and what a blessing that was.
Things are constantly changing here. We never know who is going to be in need. We have ministered to families that could not get to the Kids Club because their car broke down and were out of food, one family lost everything is a fire and we were able to provide for their needs and the constant need for prayer with our Kids Club families.
On March 25th, we were blessed to be a part of the Virginia Block Party. We put in lots of road miles going to North Carolina and then to Virginia all to bless families for the glory of God. I am always amazed at how God works at these Block Parties…he always draws those who need prayer and salvation. We are so blessed to be a part of God’s big plan for Anchor Ridge.
This coming weekend is our first Easter Extravaganza. Be praying for the children and their families to come and be blessed! Pictures to come!
