Recently, Anchor Ridge hosted 2 distribution events in Marion, VA. Marion is a small town in southwest Virginia that experienced devastation during the aftermath flooding of Hurricane Helene in late 2024. Many families are still trying to recover from the loss they experienced.
We were honored to be hosted by The Warming Center & Antioch Greater Love Ministries on a Thursday evening for our first event. This event had such a tremendous turn-out, local law enforcement officials had to turn cars away as roadways were being blocked by the traffic. Because the need was so great in this community, our partner church in the area had us back the following Thursday evening at the local High School. Volunteer teams from Anchor Ridge and the church worked overnight to make sure every family was served the supplies they needed! The last car passed through the distribution line at 1:30am that Friday Morning.
Thank you to every partner and supporter that makes these events possible!
