Anchor Ridge has began distributing Thanksgiving meal kits to families in Western North Carolina—and because of supporters like you, families who were down to nothing were able to receive a turkey and all the “fixins” for a true holiday meal.
One of those families was Tim, a single father of three. Tim shared with our team that he had absolutely nothing for Thanksgiving and couldn’t bear the thought of his kids going without a holiday meal. When volunteers placed a turkey and all the sides into his hands, his face lit up with relief and gratitude. “Now my kids can have the Thanksgiving they deserve,” he said, fighting back tears. He left with a meal for the table… and hope for his family’s hearts.
