Christmas in the Appalachian Mountains is one of the most exciting times of the year! This season gives us an opportunity to share Christ and bless kids and families that would otherwise not have a good Christmas experience in tremendous ways.
This year, Anchor Ridge teams are geared up and prepared to serve over 15,000 people for Christmas. The devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Helene has left countless families in situations that would make Christmas for them very difficult or even impossible to celebrate.
On December 7th, the Christmas Season will be kicked-off in Bakersville, NC – a town ravished by Hurricane Helene. Following this event, there will be many more in western North Carolina, West Virginia, and other distributions in areas of the Appalachian Mountains.
