Kentucky Mountain Christmas is an annual event hosted by Anchor Ridge to serve families with Christmas gifts, food, clothing, hygiene products, and THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST!
Each year, Anchor Ridge prayerfully considers areas throughout eastern Kentucky and determines a new location based on published poverty levels, conversations with local officials about the situations and circumstances in the area – and we take over a local school campus and serve the entire community. This year’s Kentucky Mountain Christmas event was held in Hazard, KY and was a HUGE success! Over 800 families were served and more than 100 DECISIONS FOR CHRIST was made. One of the major decision factors in serving Hazard, KY this year was the recent devastating floods that struck the area, causing many families to lose everything.
These events are made possible through our partnerships with corporations to help provide the products, our financial partners who help fund the events, and our dedicated volunteer teams who selflessly show up to serve.
