This past weekend, Anchor Ridge teams were on-the-ground in Barbour County, WV! Hundreds of families showed up to receive food, hygiene products, household goods, a hot meal, and the Gospel of Jesus!
Volunteers began arriving to the event site (Barbour County Fairgrounds) as early as 7:30am! Before setting up and preparing for the event, the teams joined in prayer that souls would be saved, lives would be changed, and families would receive exactly what the needed from this event!
As families arrived, they were served a meal. Some families told our food service volunteers that it had been days since they had eaten a hot meal. In addition to other activities, the Kids enjoyed getting their face painted in their favorite designs!
After having a meal and enjoying activities, the families gathered under the pavilion for a time of Worship and to hear the Gospel of Christ! During this time of worship, there were 50 Decisions for Christ and 30 Baptisms!
After hearing the Gospel, families “shopped” (for FREE) through items such as toys, socks, household items, diapers, etc.
Upon exiting the event, attendees drove their car through a car line, where they were loaded down with TONS of supplies!
