Over the past couple of weeks, Anchor Ridge has had the opportunity to distribute Back-To-School Kits to kids throughout the Appalachian Mountains. We believe that every child should have the right to return to school equipped, and ready to learn. Many of these children are in situations where they would simply be unable to have backpacks, notebooks, calculators, and all of the other items needed for school.
Thanks to Anchor Ridge supporters and child sponsors, kids in West Virginia, North Carolina, and Virginia were able to return with all they needed to be successful and get a good education to better their future.
