Anchor Ridge Bringing Hope, Help, and the Gospel to Hazard, Kentucky This Weekend

HAZARD, KY — This Saturday, Anchor Ridge will travel to Hazard, Kentucky, for a large-scale community outreach event designed to meet both physical and spiritual needs throughout the region.

The event will feature a mass distribution of resources and a community Gospel Crusade, bringing together volunteers, churches, ministry partners, and supporters with one mission: serving families and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.

Tractor-trailer loads of supplies are being delivered to Eastern Kentucky and will be distributed free of charge to families in attendance. Items available will include food, hygiene products, household goods, clothing, toys, and other essential resources for individuals and families facing economic hardship.

In addition to receiving needed supplies, families will be served a hot meal and invited to enjoy a day filled with fellowship, encouragement, and activities for children. Special attractions and children’s activities are planned throughout the event to create a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

While meeting practical needs remains a key component of the outreach, Anchor Ridge leaders emphasize that the heart of the event is the Gospel.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a time of worship, hear testimonies of life transformation, and listen to a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The event will conclude with an invitation for individuals and families to respond to the message and surrender their lives to Christ.

Every box of food, every toy, every meal, and every act of kindness points to something greater! We believe true hope is found in Jesus Christ, and our prayer is that people leave not only with their physical needs met, but with their hearts encouraged and their lives changed!

Eastern Kentucky communities continue to face significant economic challenges, and events like this provide an opportunity for churches, ministries, and local organizations to unite in serving their neighbors. Through partnerships and generous donations, Anchor Ridge is able to deliver resources on a large scale while sharing a message of hope that extends beyond the event itself.

As trucks roll into Hazard this weekend, volunteers are preparing for what they believe will be a powerful day of ministry, service, and community impact.
